Project Manager, G20 Health And Development Partnership

Hatice has an extensive experience in working on sustainability reporting projects.
Hatice first worked from Sovereign Strategy’s Brussels office and advised clients on European Union social-, migration-, health- and international development policies.
Based on her project management experience and her in depth working knowledge with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, Hatice managed and coordinated the G20 Global Health Initiative that led to the creation of the “G20 Health and Development Partnership.” Hatice is managing the external relations, communications and policy dialogue of the Partnership.

Before joining Sovereign, Hatice was involved in a refugee-teaching project in Germany. Hatice has previously worked at the Permanent Representation of Germany to the United Nations in New York on conflict zones including Ukraine and Syria as well as the UN peace-building fund. During her time at the EU Representation of the State of Hessen in Brussels, she worked on topics scuh as sustainable agriculture.

Hatice is involved in various voluntary organizations such as the Young Professional in Foreign Policy (YPFP). As part of her involvement, she has organized various events regarding security policies in the Middle East, the role of women in Islam and the future EU-Turkey relationships.

Hatice completed her M.Sc. in Comparative Political Economy at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom.

Hatice is proficient in German, Turkish, English, French and an intermediary level of Arabic.
