Inspired by the mandate for multisector partnerships under SDG17 and called to action by the looming financial gap for SDG3, scholars at the Harvard School of Public Health have embarked on developing MESH – short for Multisector Engagement for Sustainable Health. MESH is built on the principle that concerted action across sectors is necessary to achieve the 2030 health agenda. MESH began at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School and have linkages with the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. The first goal has been to garner expert input for the development of Guiding Principles (GPs) for multisector engagement for SDG3 on health and well-being.  MESH has convened Harvard Study Groups in Cambridge and New York, engaging with high-level stakeholders from UN and other international organisations, civil society, the private sector, and academia.
