A successful sustainable development agenda requires inclusive partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society at the global, regional, national and local level that are built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals placing people and the planet at the centre. There is a crying need to mobilise, redirect and unlock the transformative power of private resources to deliver on sustainable development objectives. Long-term investments, including foreign direct investment, are needed in health and other critical sectors, especially in developing countries.
With the support of 21 leading global organisations, representing more than 1000 cross-sectorial collaborators, the G20 Health and Development Partnership is uniquely positioned to harness inclusive partnerships and foster collaboration to ensure health innovations for all.
