kENUP foundation is a global partnership in innovation, promoting research-based innovation for Europe with public and societal benefit. Created in 2014, kENUP works closely with International Organisations, such as bodies of the European Union, to develop projects aimed to pursue market-leading positions for European innovation businesses. For example, one of its projects encouraged the development of medical interventions for the Global South. The European Investment Bank EIB and kENUP foundation have also joined forces on the EU Malaria Fund, a novel investment instrument aimed at the control of Malaria. As part of its global outreach, kENUP also works closely with the OECD, the World Health Organisation, EIT Health, the National Academy of Medicine and the Malta Development Bank.
