Actions
Attract broad political support for the objectives of the Partnership from politicians and senior decision makers world-wide in order to raise political awareness by showcasing expertise, collaborations and achievements of partners
• Create a group of Parliamentary Champions of the G20 Health and Development Partnership to stimulate high-level political capital for the Partnership
• Position the Partnership’s objectives at the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) meeting in Geneva (13th - 17th Oct. 2018
• Open a dialogue with the UK-Japan 21st Century Group in advance of Japan’s G20 Presidency in 2019
• Position the Partnership at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in London (16th – 20th Apr. 2018) following a private briefing and strategy discussion with the UK House of Commons International Development Committee (IDC) and Health
Elevate the profile of the Partnership and its members through increased political support
• Manage media campaign through op-eds, interviews and blog posts (jointly and individually) via Partnership´s communications channels
